Salt Grill and Sky Bar @ ION ORCHARD

Dining with glow city view at atas restaurant is always pleasing.
Salt grill and Sky Bar is a high complete dining experience, perched at the top of Ion Orchard.
Savouring a modern Australian cuisine by celebrity chef Luke Mangan, the Wow factor
is definitely the amazing view regardless it is at day or night. But of course, night
view is always more enchanting and impressive.

Taking a lift to level 4 of ION Orchard, there is a concierge desk and a sign for
Salt Grill and Sky Bar. The receptiosnist will bring you over to the dedicated lift to reach
to level 55 of its restaurant. Not only the interior and exterior of its restaurant looks
very decent and exclusive but also the lift is from level 4 was stunning !

From the starting journey through the stunning lift to the marvellous view when step in into
the restaurant and an excellent service provided, the only words i could describe is "wow"!!

Seating at the window seat let us enjoy the superb view clearly of the Orchard Road
even stretching out to Marina Bay Sands and CBD Skyline. Thank You for bringing me
to this fabulous place for my birthday.

Below drinks are Whisky and City of Love with a shot behind a light and city view.
Look at the drink of City of love ! Its so cute with small umbrella coated on the drink .

Wanted to order the Set of Degustation_Menu but due to "sotong" / "squid" sensitivity which
is their main course and has to be min of 2 pax for ordering hence we go for a la carte instead.

Mains : Pork Belly and Gulf Prawn.

Skin was crispy and savoury but some parts of the meat was a bit tender and hard.

The Spencer Gulf prawns can be say not small and a little bit of quite big.

Fresh and packed with meat. Garnished sauce of ginger jus and enoki was nice and delectable. Besides the sauce, the circle ball of garlic cream was also another topping that i like.

It was neither salty and creamy. Just nice to dip with prawn and pork belly

PS : i forgot the full name of its dish. But it is definitely a wagyu beef comes
with pancake and mashed potato. It is a special menu given by them hence its dishes
menu is unable to find on their website.

Fine dining portion is always smaller, not much compare to other places .
That's ya we ordered a side order of fries. Overall dining experience was memorable,
regardless the view, ambience, food, and service are excellent.

Ended this post with my birthday cake. As i mentioned it was my birthday !
Though the cake was a bit hard because it is an ice cream cake and just out from the fridge,
but i would like to say it is my favourite cake. Thank you for everything !
