Judge Performance and Judging Panel of SDD5 Final

In most of the dance competition, what we catch usually is a contestant's performance
Its hardly to have a chance to catch on judge's performance on the stage

I always wanted to see judge performance on the stage while the competition is running
And now, Yes!!! On the final round of Singapore Dance Delight Vol.05 Final round,
i was able to watch it. All the judges have their own dance technique and style.. AWESOME !!

With rising of competition standard, Singapore Dance Delight Vol.5 has invited a stellar panel
of judges, all of whom are world - experts street dance. The judgment has following criteria :
" technical abilities, showmanship, musicality, originality and professionalism. "


Ryan Tan 

O School Creative Director and became a well-known face in the local dance industry after
discovering his gift in dance at the age of 23. As a times moves , he desire to
continuously challenge himself to progress and to explore various dance forms in
New York , Los Angeles , Japan , Korea, and Taiwan.

Ryan has expanded his vocabulary from Hip-hop and Jazz to now include Lyrical and
contemporary style. He represented Singapore for the World Planet
Dance Competition and came in 5th out of 26 countries.

Shaun Evaristo 

A talented choreographer and dancer extraordinaire, started dancing at the age of five and
has never stopped since. Shaun Evaristo is not a stranger to the international dance scene
and had performed for international stars like Omarion, Vanessa Hudgens, Justin Bieber
and had choreographed for artistes Korean like super-idols , Big Bang and 2NE1.

Shaun has taught in well-known dance institutions around the world. He also founded and
is currently serving as the CEO of Movement Lifestyle, a choreographer management company
who aims to equip choreographer aspirants with the necessary  skills to excel in the indsutry.

Henry Link

Henry McMilan ,one of most well - respected name in Hip Hop as Henry Link.
Growing up in Brooklyn where various styles of street dancing are born, he was awed
by this dance culture and began to learn dancing at the age of 5. An established dancer and
choreographer, Link travels around the world to conduct workshop classes
and to serve in the judging panel of various street dance competitions.

Henry Link is the co-founder of Elite Dance Crew, who is credited for pioneering the
Hip Hop movement worldwide. The crew was formed in 1992 and has since worked with
a array of international artist such as Michael Jackson , Mariah Carey , Will Smith and TLC

Acky 

Acky is widely known for his Popping techniques, which are executed with a keen sense of
musicality. It comes as no surprise that he is dubbed as one of the world's best Popper.
He and his crew have won 3 installments of Japan Dance Delight in 1998 (Vol.5), 2002 (Vol.9), &
2013 (Vol.20). He is still competing in international dance competition, conducting dance workshops
and judging in prestigious dance competition like Singapore Dance Delight , R-16 and Juste Debout

Dominique

Member of the Wrecking Crew Orchestra, which is acknowledge as the master of
Hip Hop in Japan. Dominique rises to prominence as a member of the Electric Trouble
who won Japan Dance Delight Vol.4 and Vo.10. He remains as a living inspiration
to many dancers, often conducting classes in his own studio, Do-Up.
He was also one of the judges of the Philippines Dance Delight Vo.2 ( 2014 )

All of the Judges gave out a wise and meaningful comments  ..
Though you may not the winner but its good that if you take note on their comments :)
You can use it to improve yours for others competition or perhaps for this competition on next year.

" All try want to improve. You not only throw all the idea into one but you have to know 
about the basic. The basic, the fundamental is there and you control it . 
If you can do it, you are a strong dancer."

Judges also commented that the benchmark of the standard competition for this year
is higher than the previous year.  Keep it up all the dancers .. May you all be success ☺☺
