Marché® Restaurant @ Vivo City

Every time when passby 313 Somerset, i alwyas take a look at Marche, this european
restaurant because the very obvious of pastries display looks damn tempting
I was quite curious with the food and wanted to try it out but neither i did it once after
hearing the comment from my friends, " Marche is not nice! All about green - vegetable ".
I was become reluctant to try it out .

One day when looking for dinner at Vivo City, i made out my mind to try March in once
Since i never try before, so no harm trying on it as i was told they have varities of food instead.
The ambience was cozy and each stand sells a different type of food.

We were given a Marche Card by for food ordering as the food charges will be
stored in that card and final payment at cashier will be based on the total charges accumulation.

Rosti is one of the must - try food while visiting Marche !
Basically, rosti is a fried grated potatoes of swiss dish. While queueing for the food,
i saw a big basket contains a grated potatoes and fom far, it looks like a radish .

Sweet Dessert

A thin layer crepe for a light dessert, and generously topped with fresh strawberry, walnut,

and sprinkle of chocolate topping. Crepe was good but not outstanding though.

Nonetheless, it is a sweet crepe instead of crispy crepe

I was intererested much on the dessert at Marche. While passing by the PASTRY section,
i started to grumble for the cake ! it was so attracting !

Without hestitation for other choices, i chose my favorite strawberry ! Strawberry cake.
Despite it looks nice on the display but the quality of cake was out of expectation.
It is jsut a normal sponge cake and the layer was quite rough.
Well, didn't expect much except for the sweet and fresh strawberry

Stomach was not filling enough with just a strawberry cake and it didn't satisfy
my pastry craving. So i walked to pastry section and saw another crispy crumble topped cake.
Well, it is a green apple with cinnamon. At last, thanks that i feel better with this pastry.
Layered with the crispy tart at below and crunchy crumble at the top makes the pastry
taste much more better than the sponge cake !
