STEAMBOAT & KOREAN BUFFET : GoroGoro

A new restaurant located at Orchard Gateway @ Emerald with a unique name called as GoroGoro, is a cozy and affordable Korean Steamboat restaurant that offers up to 50 selections of fresh meat, veggies, Korean delicacies, and drinks for weekday and 70 selections for weekends. And it is FREE FLOW  ~~ Buffet!

This is a shelf near to entrance that is only catered for all the Fresh Vegetables for us to pick and choose.

STEAMBOAT FEST 

A wide variety and fresh ingredients from a cooked food such as chicken wings, dumpling, 

pumpkin, noodle, tofu, meatball to raw meat such as chicken, pork, beef, and many more.

Ngoh Hiang. 

It was my first time seeing Ngoh Hiang at Korean Fest. 

It is a roll deep-fried meat of Hokkien or Teochew dishes. It wasn't that bad.

Chicken Wings 

Don't get confused by the 2 types of Chicken Wings. The first one is normal chicken wings and the second one is Korean Chicken Wings. The Korean Wings was well marinated and the meat is juicy.

SAUCES & FRUITS

There is a different variety of sauce available range from green chili, sambal chili, thai chili, and many more. Fruits are located at the top of the sauces.

Other than juice, soft drinks, and ice cream are available.

What is your favourite broth (Soup Base)?
There are 6 types of Soup Base. The first 3 soup on below the pictures are:

Collagen: It is great for the skin. The collagen broths are boiled at least 12 hours before serving out to extract the hidden goodness from stock and spices
Mala: I can't take spicy so the Mala is too spicy for me
Tomato: The tomato broth wasn't strong enough

Next soup base would be :
- Vegetarian: It tasted good and I feel like my home-cooked soup.
- Tom Yum: At least not as spicy as the Mala
- Ginseng Chicken: it is my other favourite besides the Collagen

Overall the food is nice. It is a great place to have an affordable steamboat with pretty spacious seats and a coloruful steamboat food bar
