Suggested to left earlier from your place at least an hour before if you are planning to
going somewhere. Otherwise, you gonna be late and your plan will be messed up
Absolutely, wasted your time but it cann't be denied and argued where you are definitely stucked on
your way for hours. For those who live in Jakarta, its nothing for them because they have used to it.
But for me who live in a place that seldom encounter a worse traffic jam is really killing me.
Day 1 :
Reach in Jakarta Aiport -Soekarno Hatta around 2pm plus local time and stucked in traffic jam
while otw to Hotel Menara Peninsula Slipi. It can be reached on 30 minutes but due to
idiot long traffic jam so it took around an hour plus to reach. " WTH " #itcallasjakarta
Driving Skills in Jakarta must be really good and trained well.
The taxi driver we took from Airport played rough. In a middle of heavy traffic jam,
He took a corner side of small road while totally no car passing by that
road and cut till quite infront from the behind car.
We were cheated Rp 20,000 by him, He told us need to pay for aiport charge when we were
inside a cab. In fact, there is no airport charge and his Argo ( meter ) for the cab jumped very fast
Reached in the hotel around evening and rest for a while before going to
Taman Anggrek Mall and Central Park Mall . Both shopping mall is located in
walking distance and known for selling branded stuff. Its not really more to very branded stuff
but is international brand and good quality . Of course the price is not cheap.
Looking for dinner and don't know what to eat, so we dropped by at
Penang Paradise - Taman Anggrek Mall Lt.3
Food serving is quite fast and the overall is quite satisfied, not bad. But the price may be quite high
Sweet and Sour Fish
Try it for the non - spicy fish choice . Guess you gonna like it
Soya Sauce Prawn
It is served in 8 pieces of prawn and quite costly around Rp 56.000 but it really taste good
Sambal Belacan Chicken
Its tasted more to fried chicken instead of what have been written in menu "Sambal Belacan Chicken "
Not forgetting for the dessert time . I was craving for ICE CENDOL .
Nothing much on the ice cendol . Served with coconut milk and sugar syrup.
Es Teller
Served with coconut milk and condensed milk with an ingredients of coconut, avocado,
jackfruit , and one more fruit that i don't know the name of it.
When i walked into the Taman Anggrek Mall's toilet . Waow, i saw a fabulous design
of toilet with cute mirror . Let me take selfie on it :-D and there is 2 fabulous sofa
chair outside the toilet. PS : i didn't take picture of it
While walking around at Central Park Mall, i spotted TEDDY!!!! " TEDDY HOUSE "
Morning Breakfast
I have special preference of western food/ breakfast instead of indonesia food such as fried rice .
In a meanwhile, i suddenly miss a person who can always share breakfast together with me .
So, i don't need to eat eveything by myself :(
Fruits are never left out from my breakfast .
I was " WAOW !!! I SAW STRAWBERRY " from Salad Bar. Its a must to grab it . Hahaha
Day 2 :
I was curious on the food of Es Teller 77 . It is famous of food chain established in Jakarta
We were in the rush and otw down to Mangga Dua Square, i saw the directory of Es Teller
so without thinking further, we headed down to find Es Teller .
Bad Experience of Es Teller 77 at Mangga Dua Square :
OMG !!! WTH !!! WHAT !!! It really out from my expectation . Not only slow on the
service but also the food i ordered " Mie Ayam " . It was very salty and not nice at all .
No choice !! :( since i knew i had to eat something so i forced myself to take a few bite of spoon
and the rest i couldn't swallow in into my mouth already :(
And 1 MORE : The place is quite quiet and not much customer. BUT !!! Imagine that we waited
quite long for the Ayam Penyet and they served a wrong order of Ayam Goreng .
Well, since we run out of time and just wanted to settle down our lunch quickly.
So, we never raise our the voice to ask them to chance
Based on their name "Es Teller" and the dessert of "Es Teller" supposed to be nice too. But !!!!
i really don't know what to comment on it. 1 sentence : At least, it is better than Mie Ayam
Done our lunch , we quickly proceed on to find cab to Ancol, Dufan ( Dunia Fantasi ).
Ancol is a huge recreation place in Jakarta.
It has theme park, beach, cable car, ocean dream, sea world , etc . More details at here
Dufan is a theme park and located inside Ancol.
But definitely, the attraction they have are uncomparable with USS - Singapore.
We went on weekends and the ticket entrace is really boost a lot , expensive !!
Weekday : Rp 180,000
Weekends ( Saturday and Sunday ) : Rp 250,000
Anuual Pass (valid for 1 year ) : Rp 260,000
Since the difference is only Rp 10,000. So, decided to make an annual pass even though i know
i may not going again and seems useless . But who's know maybe i gonna go to Jakarta within
a year and have nothing to do, so i can drop by to Dufan since i don't need to pay already.
The most annoying while going to DUFAN ( Dunia Fantasi ) on weekends is the QUEUE ..
We chose a wrong day and OMG !!! didn't expected that Most of the attraction needed to queue
for quite long. The first QUEUE we had wasted around an hour was " Bumped Car "
I was dissappointed on the roller - coaster . Not excited enough and WTH its only 1 round . LOL
The most attraction i love the most nonetheless is Caraousell ..
I know i am not a kids anymore but it always left the most impression in my heart ❤❤
While going to " Istana Boneka " Istana is Castle and Boneka is doll. I met cute duck . Hihihii
