From ear to ear and mouth to mouth many people claimed that Victor Kitchen has a very nice
custard bun. But never once i stepped into it. I used to have no idea where is Sunshine Plaza ?
What kind of place is that ? I knew it, till one day i pass by while passing by bencoolen street .
Looking for a steamed food in the middle of Bugis and Brash Basah, so we walked to Sunshine Plaza.
It was weekends and glad that it was no queue. Victor's Kitchen is a HongKong style dimsum with
a simple Kopi Tiam decorated setting of metal tables and plastic stools.
Victor's King Prawn Dumpling
Aka Har Kaw, it was really bigger than normal Har Kaw that i eat. Prawn is bigger and skin is
smooth enough to bite, feel the chewy chewy Har Kaw That is how its name of King goes.
Queen Sized Siew Mai
I have no idea why it is called as Queen Sized as it look the same size a regular Siew Mai we eat.
Delicious meat dumplings topped with a crab roe with smooth skin and meatly feeling
Freshly Baked Oven Egg Tart
It was an impromptu order of their New Menu of Egg Tart. We wanted to order BBQ Pork Bun,
but it didn't have and the friendly auntie recommended us to try their Egg Tart. It was not so
wonderful tough as it didn't have any special taste that made us WAOW !! on it.
It is very expensive, $4.20 for 2 egg tarts. I would say not worth to try.
Golden Egg Yolk Lava Buns
It is a Lava Buns, the melted lava and that you need to treat it carefully, it may leak out from your
biting especially the separated butter oil from its custard. Love the custard bun to the max!
Definitely, i will visit again is because of its Custard Bun. Bun is soft and and have a good fragrant
on the custard salted egg yolk. However, i think it is much more better if the butter oil can
be kneaded well with the custard so that it can give more fantastic feeling to its custard bun.
Steamed Carrot with X/O Sauce
A special carrot cake that i have tried so far. It means to serve as HongKong style with a traditional
Hongkong recipe that makes the steamed carrot cake different from others. There was a scallops,
smoked sausage and topped with their own XO sauce with the imported ingredients from Hong Kong
Steamed Chicken Feet in Black Bean Sauce
Nothing much from its Chicken Feet. Other than the unique imparting spiciness from its red chili padi,
the only one that i like is the Black Bean sauce

HK Style Iced Milk Tea
It is a best seller drink at Victor's Kitchen. The tea powder is imported from Hong Kong.
So, what special of its Milk Tea ? Yes ! It is nice and good for refreshing.
But have you seen any iced milk tea with chilled on the outside ?
The cup of milk tea was placed on the bowl of ice to prevent dilution of milk tea's taste
